The most recent trials of the Billings Ovulation Method, were in Nanjing, China and in five States in India.

In the Chinese Trial, 987 couples followed the B.O.M. guidelines for the avoidance of pregnancy for a year - there were no pregnancies, so

The Indian Trial was supervised by the Indian Council of Medical Research. It involved 2059 couples followed for 21 months.

In Indonesia, a trial in 1978/82 involved 1331 couples during a 42 month programme.
